Setting Up/Breaking Down

Set up will begin promptly at 7:00pm. The first game will start by 7:10pm. Games end promptly at 8:55pm and the score at that time will stand. Late matches will begin at 9:00pm and end promptly at 10:55pm. All equipment will be put in the box, poles hung up, and all tape removed.

No food or drink in the gym (except for water). Peddie was VERY SPECIFIC about this.

Ref Duties

Teams are responsible to ref one court. If a team fails to ref a scheduled match, the responsible team will have one lose added to their record for each game missed. The ref must start the game to prevent this penalty ( e.g., ref arrives during second game and the score is 1 to 0, his team will receive 2 loses to their season record).

Team No-Shows

Teams must have 4 players by the end of the first game or they will receive a loss to their season record. For every game that follows, that team must start 4 players or receive additional losses on a game by game basis. A team playing with less than 4 players are still qualified to play for record. For example, if a team has 3 players but wins 3 of the 4 games then their record for the evening is 3 and 5 (3 and 1 plus 4 losses) and the opposing team goes 1 and 3.
