**REFFING ASSIGNMENTS – Unfortunately we only have five teams in the league this year.  I polled some people and the general consensus was that it was not fair to ask teams to drive out to ref if they are not playing (if they have a bye).  Some people are coming from some distances so it is a lot to ask.  There was also the idea of having teams double up and play two matches in one night to provide refs.  The general consensus was that 8 games a night was too many.  So unfortunately we do not have refs available for the regular season.  We will have refs for the playoffs.  If teams wish to provide their own, that is fine.  So we are trusting that everyone will play under these conditions and CALL THEIR OWN.  We have all played in this league for some time and I think everyone knows each other pretty well.  Let’s all be fair and play honestly.  The league is for fun.  If there are questionable plays, they should result in a replay of the point.  I wish we had another way to do this but I do not think we do.  If you have other ideas on how to get around it, I am open to suggestions.

** LEAGUE FEE POLICY – Payment for the league is due on 2/14.  That gives 4 weeks from now to get the money together.  That should be enough time.  If payment for the league is not received on 11/8, all games after that will be forfeited until payment is received.  This should be plenty of time to get the fee together from everyone.   The cost will be $421/team.  **

The schedule for the year was picked at random from a hat.  If we are canceled for weather during the year, we will skip that week and remain on schedule by date.  There are enough games played where it should not make much of a difference.
